Dominique Brown is the owner of the YFS Academy and helps individuals and small businesses overcome their financial roadblocks to financial freedom. West Philadelphia raised, Dominique and his family tribulations never held him back. He surpassed the struggle of growing up in a single-parent household to obtaining his degree from George Mason University in IT security. However, it wasn’t until his mother (who raised him) went through financial hardship (divorce where she lost everything) that he focused on finance. He created YourFinancesSimplified in 2009 with the aim to educate the young and old on the importance of financial planning.
Well known for his Bestseller on Amazon – “How to Fix Your Credit,” and his 3&1 financial coaching program, he also shares a lot of his experience online on his successful blog YourFinancesSimplified.com. He is the owner of the financial firm S&D Capital Holdings LLC, helping thousands of clients every month with their financial planning and goal setting. With the right mix of problem-solving tools, goal setting, determination and inspiring attitude, Dominique and his team believes that even the worst cases of credit, debt, and financial ruin can be resolved.
His motto “Finances can be fun!” stands for his long-held conviction that becoming rich is a lifestyle choice that one has to learn to enjoy. Just like living with a healthier diet and exercise is difficult, but rewarding, improving your financial lifestyle can be just as fun in a productive and fulfilling way. He believes in the fact that “personal finance is personal” and that each case should be handled individually, respecting the uniqueness and different needs of clients to help them conquer the success they deserve.
